Jack Black as Green Lantern paper toy

Intrigued by this fairly detailed explanation of what a Green Lantern movie starring Jack Black would have been like, I looked around for concept art and discovered that David Boreanaz was once considered for the lead. I also found a Jack Black as Green Lantern paper toy for download. The illustration you see above is via.

The other what if of the day is Christina Hendricks as Wonder Woman. I couldn't find any decent images imagining that (link is NSFW).

Green Lantern concept art

Alex Mandra posted a bunch of Green Lantern movie concept art.

No one seems to have anything nice to say about the completed movie, but let me say again that this particular trailer was fantastic:

Link roundup

1. The early reviews are that the Green Lantern movie is horrendous.

2. Paul Maybury has a new scifi horror comic available as a digital download - - $1 for 25 pages.

3. Entertainment Earth is having a big sale on action figures (supposedly up to 90% off). These Dark Knight Returns Batman and Joker figures were the coolest toys I spotted.
